David Vaamonde

Vice President, Data Analytics at Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA)

David Vaamonde has worked in different positions in various companies. David started as a research assistant in Virginia Tech in 2009. From 2011-2013, they worked as Director of Communications and GROW Coordinator at GlobeMed. In 2014, they joined Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA) as a Data Analyst and then worked as a Research Associate and Director of Research before being promoted to Vice President of Data Analytics in March 2018.

David Vaamonde completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia in 2013. Later, in 2014 they pursued their Master of Public Health degree in Health Services Administration from the same university. In 2018, they completed their Executive Certificate in Management from the McIntire Business Institute at the University of Virginia. David also obtained several certifications, such as a Tableau Desktop Certified Associate certification from Tableau Software in December 2016, a GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF) certification from the SANS Institute in July 2017, and a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance in December 2020.
