R. Brent Rawlings has worked in various roles in the healthcare industry since 1997, including as a Senior Vice President & General Counsel, Vice President and General Counsel, and Vice President at Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. Prior to that, they worked as an Attorney at McGuireWoods and Hancock, Daniel, Johnson & Nagle, P.C. Additionally, they have held roles as Network Consultant at Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield and Senior Contract Specialist at UnitedHealthcare.
R. Brent Rawlings earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Policy and Administration from Penn State University in 1995. R. Brent went on to attend the University of Richmond School of Law from 2000 to 2004, where they received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. During their time at law school, they also completed their Master of Health Administration (M.H.A) at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2000 to 2004.
