Michelle Lopes Maldonado

Michelle Lopes Maldonado serves as a State Representative for the Virginia House of Delegates, where significant achievements include being named a 2024 Impact Maker by Virginia Business Magazine and leading their Caucus in bill passage rates during the 2024 Session. As the Founder and CEO of Lucenscia, Michelle specializes in leadership presence and organizational transformation, integrating emotional intelligence and a neuroscience foundation. Michelle co-teaches the True North Leadership Program at 1440 Multiversity, drawing on principles from Harvard Business School. Additional roles include program design for the United Nations Foundation and involvement with various boards, such as the Virginia Growth & Opportunity Board and the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. Michelle holds a Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from Barnard College.
