Jeffrey Florin

Jeffrey Florin has been with the Virginia Port Authority since 2002, currently serving as Vice President of Port Development. Jeffrey has also held roles as Deputy Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer and Chief Engineer, overseeing the port's capital development program and security operations. Prior to their time at the VPA, Jeffrey had a distinguished 27-year career with the United States Coast Guard, retiring as a Captain. During their time with the Coast Guard, Jeffrey held various positions including Facility Engineer at the US Coast Guard Academy and Commanding Officer at CEU Providence. Jeffrey holds a MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BSCE from the US Coast Guard Academy.
