Patrick Koch has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Patrick started their career as an Operations Specialist at Incredible Supply & Logistics (ISL) in 2013. In this role, their responsibilities included maintaining relationships with suppliers and end users, ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials, and assessing the impact of delays on project schedules.
After two years at ISL, Patrick joined The Port of Virginia in 2015 as an Assistant Operations Manager. Patrick later progressed to the role of Marine Operations Manager in 2019, where they likely had oversight of maritime operations and ensured the smooth flow of goods through the port. Following this, they served as the Yard Operations Manager, responsible for managing operations related to the storage and handling of cargo in the port.
Currently, Patrick holds the position of Berthing Operations Manager at The Port of Virginia, a role they assumed in May 2023.
Patrick Koch attended James Madison University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs. In addition to their undergraduate education, Patrick also completed the Leadership Development Program at The Port of Virginia in June 2019 and the Lean Six Sigma Leadership Training at Old Dominion University in February 2018.
