Hasan Abdessamad

Hasan Abdessamad is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist currently practicing at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health since July 2016. Previously, Hasan Abdessamad served as the Founder and First President of the Lebanese Medical Association for Sexual Health from September 2012 to July 2019. Between July 2012 and July 2016, Hasan Abdessamad worked as a Gynecologist & Obstetrician in private practice. Additional roles include Clinical Professor at Université de Sherbrooke from 2010 to 2012 and Gynecologist & Obstetrician at Réseau de Santé Vitalité from October 2009 to 2012, where expertise encompassed minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, high-risk obstetrics, and cancer screening. Hasan Abdessamad completed an OBGYN residency at University Hospitals from June 2005 to January 2010 and served as a Research Fellow at American University of Beirut, focusing on the genetic basis of preterm labor in Lebanon. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from American University of Beirut.
