Also chair of the Virginia Mason Foundation Board, Hendrickson’s career has focused on scaling early stage and privately held companies in the consumer space, including chair and founding director of the beauty brand Butter London. She currently serves as chief operating officer of the Seattle-based consumer products company, Pulse, and is co-founder of Denny Hill Capital, an early stage venture capital firm. Hendrickson also serves on the Board of The Commerce Bank of Washington, and is a trustee as well as past president of Frye Art Museum. Previously, Hendrickson served as the first chief financial officer of Sound Transit, where she was lead advisor on all financial and operating policy matters to an 18-member elected board. Prior to that, she was director of Finance and Administration for the Port of Seattle’s Seaport. Hendrickson is past chair of Woodland Park Zoo, Wellspring Family Services and the Community Development Roundtable. In 2011, the Seattle native was recognized as a “Woman of Influence” by Puget Sound Business Journal. Hendrickson earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from University of Washington and is a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow.
