Elizabeth Chung

Elizabeth Chung is a dedicated professional in the museum and education sectors, currently serving as a Collections Management Intern at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts since August 2023, where responsibilities include object care and database management. Prior experience includes roles as a Museum Educator at The Valentine, engaging diverse audiences with Richmond history, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University, supporting undergraduate coursework and exhibition-making. Elizabeth has also worked in various capacities such as an Online Writing Tutor at ThinkingStorm and Visitor and Administrative Associate at Workhouse Arts Center, alongside internships at esteemed institutions like The Phillips Collection and the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Elizabeth holds a Master of Arts in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Fine Arts from Christopher Newport University.
