Field Operations

The Field Operations team within the Virginia National Guard is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of field missions and training exercises. This includes ensuring combat readiness, maintaining and operating transport and repair equipment, managing range safety and operations, and supporting both federal and state missions. Team members such as Combat Engineers, Motor Transport Operators, Blackhawk Repairers, and others play crucial roles in maintaining operational efficiency and preparedness for both combat scenarios and state emergencies.
