Erick Paulson is an experienced professional in digital forensics and computer analysis, currently serving as the Director of the Computer Forensic Unit and a Computer Forensic Examiner at the Virginia Office of Attorney General since January 2018. Prior to this role, Erick worked as a Digital Forensic Examiner for the West Virginia State Police, contributing to the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Taskforce. Erick’s career also includes a position as a System Support Analyst at CubeSmart, where responsibilities encompassed IT support and troubleshooting for internal and customer systems. Additionally, Erick began a career in the automotive industry as a Technician, specializing in diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems. Erick holds a Master’s Degree in Digital Forensic Science from Champlain College, a Bachelor of Science in Digital Forensics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, and an Associate of Science in Automotive Technology from Camden County College.
