Peggy Kriha Miller

Peggy Kriha Dye is an accomplished opera singer who has performed with some of the most prestigious opera companies in the United States. Peggy is currently the Chair of the Virginia Opera Association, Inc.

Ms. Dye's professional singing career began in 1995 when they joined the San Francisco Opera. Peggy went on to perform with the Houston Grand Opera, Washington National Opera, and The Glimmerglass Festival. In 2014, they became the Artistic Director of Opera Columbus and served in that role until 2017. Peggy then served as the General and Artistic Director of Opera Columbus from 2017 to 2020. In January 2020, they became the Chair of the Virginia Opera Association, Inc.

Ms. Dye is a highly respected member of the opera community and has been recognized for their significant contributions to the art form.

Peggy Kriha Dye received their education at the Juilliard Opera Center, The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, and St. Cloud State University.
