Sarah Faulkner Phr, Cebs

Sarah Faulkner has a diverse range of experience in the field of Human Resources. Sarah most recently served as the Human Resources Director at Virginia Physicians For Women since March 2022. Prior to that, they fulfilled the role of Human Resources Manager at the same organization from October 2016 to February 2022.

Before joining Virginia Physicians For Women, Sarah worked as an HR Generalist at Verscend (formerly Verisk Health) from October 2013 to October 2016. Sarah also had a brief stint as a Human Systems Regional Specialist at BB&T from March 2013 to October 2013.

In addition, Sarah held the position of Associate HR Business Partner at Helios HR from June 2011 to April 2013. During their time there, they gained valuable experience in various HR areas such as recruitment, onboarding, compensation benchmarking, benefit processes and administration, policy development, record management, and performance management.

Sarah's earlier experiences include working as an HR Intern at West Virginia University Hospitals from October 2010 to June 2011 and as an Insurance Assistant at Cardiovascular Associates Bon Secours from May 2008 to August 2010.

Sarah Faulkner, PHR, CEBS, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Relations from West Virginia University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration at James Madison University from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their academic achievements, Sarah Faulkner has obtained certifications including being a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) in 2016 and being a Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2014.
