Krystal Groff possesses a diverse professional background with extensive experience in auditing, business intelligence, and nursing. Since 2015, Krystal has served as the Principal Auditor - Business Intelligence at the Virginia Retirement System, utilizing computer-assisted techniques to enhance audit efficiency and implement continuous monitoring routines. Prior experience includes roles as a Business Intelligence Architect at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and a Senior MIS Analyst Manager at Capital One Financial Corporation, where Krystal focused on data analytics and technology solutions to support audit functions. Earlier career positions included staff nursing at Bon Secours Health System and programming analyst roles at Circuit City Stores, Inc. Krystal holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing Informatics from Duke University School of Nursing, a Diploma in Nursing from Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Mary Washington.
