Krista Mathis Samuels is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Assistant Ethics Counsel at the Virginia State Bar since October 2022. Prior to this role, Krista worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the Virginia Office of Attorney General from December 2020 to October 2022. Additionally, Krista was the owner of Krista Mathis Samuels, Atty-at-Law, PLLC, from March 2007 to December 2020. Krista obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law between 2000 and 2003 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia from 1996 to 2000.
