Michael Timms

Michael Timms is an experienced logistics and administrative professional currently serving as the Administrative Logistics Coordinator for Virginia State Parks since March 2021, where responsibilities include coordinating business management and logistical support functions. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Veteran Internship Program Specialist for the Virginia Department of Transportation, supporting administrative efforts related to the maintenance of the extensive state roadway system and promoting participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. Michael's earlier career in the US Army included positions such as Brigade Training Coordinator, Instructor Automated Logistical Specialist, and Contracting Officer Representative, where significant responsibilities involved training development, instructional duties, contractor management, and supervision of large-scale operations with substantial asset management. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
