Jordan Long

Jordan Long is a skilled creative video professional with extensive experience in the sports and media industry. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Creative Video at Virginia Tech Athletics since September 2018, Jordan has developed expertise in filming and editing a variety of engaging content for multiple platforms, including video boards and social media. Prior experience includes working as a Field Utility Worker at ESPN and as a Production Assistant for HokieVision, where Jordan recorded sporting events and edited promotional videos. Additional roles include a Videography Intern at appeal production, contributing to local businesses' video content, and involvement with Virginia Tech PRSSA, where promotional video development was a key focus. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Virginia Tech and an Associate's Degree from Blue Ridge Community College.
