Shankar Mukherjee

Shankar Mukherjee is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sales, marketing, product development, and operational leadership across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and India Operations at AK Power Solutions since January 2023, Shankar has been instrumental in launching a new startup focused on electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Additionally, Shankar holds the position of Vice President of Market Development and Product Management at Virginia Transformer Corp, where responsibilities include developing market strategies for emerging sectors such as EV charging and battery electric storage. As the President and Founder of SparQ Strategy, a consulting firm established in 2019, Shankar specializes in strategy development and market entry. Previous roles include senior leadership positions at Stanley Black & Decker and Danaher Corporation, with a strong background in engineering from Honeywell and United Technologies Corporation. Shankar holds an MBA from California State University-Long Beach and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University.
