Afshan Ahmad Ornan M.D.

Dr. Afshan Ahmad Ornan has experience working as a Radiologist and Medical Director of MRI at Virginia Urology. Afshan Ahmad Ornan, MD began their education at Northwestern University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in History with Honors from 1996 to 2000. While studying at Northwestern, they also spent a year abroad at the University of Oxford in 1998, focusing on European History. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine from 2001 to 2006, earning their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. After completing medical school, they joined the New York University for their Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program, which they completed from 2006 to 2010. Later, in 2010 and 2011, Afshan Ahmad Ornan pursued an Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at New York University.
