Kristal Parker, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has over 20 years of experience in various human resources roles. Kristal began their career in 1999 as a Human Resources Manager at DARPA, where they supported key HR disciplines. After that, they worked at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a Human Resources and Administration Manager, managing HR functions and leading a team of 10 administrative staff. In 2010, they joined RNB Technologies, Inc. as a Human Resources Director, providing strategic HR support for a systems engineering and analysis company. Kristal then moved to LTE LLC in 2013, where they served as the Human Resources Director, tasked with building a solid HR foundation for a start-up company. In 2014, they started their own HR consulting business, where they partnered with organizations to deliver innovative HR programs and services. Since 2015, Kristal has been working at VIPC | Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation as the CHRO.
Kristal Parker, SPHR, SHRM-SCP obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management from George Mason University - Costello College of Business. In 2014, they received a Human Resources Certification from George Mason University. In 2015, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI and the SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM.
