Markus Sher has six years of work experience. Markus began their career in 2014 as a Materials Science Research Intern at Stony Brook University Center for Thermal Spray Research, where they prepared and analyzed thermal spray samples. In 2015, they took on the role of System Validation & Verification Engineering Intern at Telephonics, where they assisted with and ran equipment qualification tests. Markus then worked as an Undergraduate Course Assistant for Freshman Engineering Lab at Binghamton University in 2014, where they instructed freshman engineering students in engineering technologies. In 2017, they were a Logistics Associate at Libutti Jewelers Inc and a Substitute Teacher at Long Island Lutheran Middle & High School, where they supervised and directed group activities and taught and tutored mathematics and engineering classes. Markus is currently a Battery R&D Engineer at Viridi, which they started in 2018.
Markus Sher graduated from Binghamton University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. Markus attended Long Island Lutheran Middle and High School from 2005 to 2012. Markus also holds an Engineer in Training certification from NCEES, which they obtained in April 2016.
