Gaël Youinou

Gaël Youinou, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Gaël started their career in 1985 with EDF, where they had internships and held several fixed-term contracts until 1989. In 1986, they also served in the military with CEA, completing their military service from April 1986 to March 1987.

In 1989, Gaël joined Sema Group as a Software Developer and then progressed into the role of a Project Manager. Gaël worked there until 1998.

From October 1998 to March 2003, Gaël worked as a Project Leader at CGG. Gaël then moved into the role of Software Group Leader from April 2003 to November 2004. Following this, they became the Software Department Manager at CGG from December 2004 to March 2011. Gaël then served as the Senior Director of Software Engineering from May 2011 to March 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Software Sales Director at CGG since April 2021.

Gaël Youinou, PMP®, obtained an Engineer's degree in Physics from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in 1989. In 2020, they obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, in 2020, they obtained a Professional Cloud Solution Architect certification from EXIN. In 2021, Gaël obtained several additional certifications including PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice, TOGAF® 9 Foundation & Certified from The Open Group, and ITIL® 4 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
