Tom Gustafsson

Tom Gustafsson is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in various roles, including Co-Founder and CTO at Virnex since May 2019. Prior to this, Tom held multiple positions at Accanto Systems from November 2010 to May 2019, such as Head of Engineering, Technical Account Manager, VP of R&D, and R&D Manager. Earlier career experiences include serving as Technical Coordinator at Ericsson from March 2008 to November 2010, and as Software Architect at Tieto from June 2004 to March 2008. Tom began their career as a Developer at Jolla from November 2002 to May 2004. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Operations Management from LUT University (2010-2013) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Lahti University of Applied Sciences (2000-2004), along with studies at the University at Buffalo in 1997-1998.
