Gaik Sui Kee

Gaik Sui Kee is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical and gene therapy sectors, currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing at Virocell Biologics since September 2021. Prior to this, Gaik held the position of Associate Director of Vector Operations at Orchard Therapeutics from January 2019 to September 2021, and served over nine years at GlaxoSmithKline Pharma GmbH in various roles, including CMC Technology Transfer Lead, Investigator in Process Engineering, and Process Engineer. Gaik's expertise encompasses project management, process engineering, and technology transfer for biopharmaceutical products, supported by a strong educational background with a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from UCL and a Master of Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and UCL.
