Rita Tendeiro Rego

Rita Tendeiro Rego is currently the SVP Quality at ViroCell Biologics since October 2021. Previously, Rita held the position of Director Of Quality at Centre for Cell, Gene & Tissue Therapeutics (CCGTT) from June 2018 to October 2021. Prior to that, Rita was the Head of ATMP Production/Regulation at CCGTT from March 2017 to February 2018. Rita also has experience as the Head of GMP Process Development Lab at CCGTT and as an Immunology Clinical Trials Co-ordinator at University College London. Rita holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Immunology from the University of Lisbon. Rita also has a degree in Microbial Biology and Genetics from the University of Lisbon.
