Robert Vrancken

Program Director at Virovet

Robert Vrancken has held various roles in the field of research and development since 2004. Robert began their career at CODA/CERVA as a Researcher in 2004. In 2011, they joined Okapi Sciences as a Sr Scientist and Director of Discovery Research. In 2014, they moved to Aratana Therapeutics NV as the Director of Discovery Research. In 2015, they began working at ViroVet as the Program Director and Director of Research and Development. In 2022, they became a Board Member for Flanders Vaccine.

Robert Vrancken completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Antwerp in 2001. Robert then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the same university, which they completed in 2003. In 2005, Robert Vrancken earned their PhD in Antivirals and Animal Virology from KU Leuven. Prior to this, they attended KA Soest from 1991 to 1994.
