Simon Fitz-Gerald has extensive experience in the telecommunications and contact center industries, currently serving as Technical Product Manager at Virsae since November 2013, where focus is on launching a new multi-platform contact center solution globally. Prior to this role, Simon worked as an Integration Consultant at Agile Integration starting in June 2001, returning to the company after an earlier tenure. Between 1999 and June 2009, Simon was a CTI Consultant at Agile Software NZ Ltd., providing support and training for Avaya Contact Center Express products. Simon's career began in 1989 at Comworth Systems Ltd., where responsibilities included service management and product support, followed by a foundational role as a Telephone Technician at New Zealand Post Office from 1983 to 1989, focusing on installation and maintenance of PABX systems. Simon holds education from Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology.
