Bibiana Iglesias

Bibiana Iglesias is an accomplished professional in the field of ophthalmic research, currently serving as Associate Director of Ophthalmic Research at Virscio since April 2023. Prior to this, extensive experience at Regeneron spanned over a decade, featuring roles such as Staff Scientist and leading projects focused on Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor A (VEGFA) programs, injection device development, and in vivo ocular studies. Significant achievements include securing two patents and authoring multiple research protocols. Earlier roles included Clinical Research Scientist at Lions Eye Institute, Manager of Laboratory Operations at Albany Medical College, and Research Trainee at Instituto de Oncologia Angel H Roffo. Bibiana holds a PhD in Pharmacology from New York Medical College and an MBA in Finance from American Public University System, alongside a BS in Biology from the University at Albany.
