Ahmed Elhossini

Ahmed Elhossini is an accomplished computer engineer with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and computer vision. Currently serving as the Manager of AI Systems and Lead AI R&D Engineer at Virtek Vision International Inc. since January 2022, Ahmed has previously held senior roles, including Senior Computer Vision Engineer at FLIR Systems and various positions at Aeryon Labs Inc. and PTX tech GmbH. Academic contributions include guest lectures and research at the Berlin Institute of Technology, along with teaching at Al-Azhar University. Ahmed's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Guelph and advanced degrees from Al-Azhar University. Research expertise encompasses FPGA implementation, optimization of embedded systems, and multicore system design.
