Bob Mahoney

Bob Mahoney is an experienced professional in security compliance and IT security consulting, currently serving as a Senior Security Compliance Analyst at Virtru since October 2020. Previously, Bob worked at Monster Worldwide from May 2016 to December 2018 in a security compliance role, and as an Independent IT Security Consultant from 2009 to May 2016, where Bob focused on helping organizations enhance their operational capabilities through technology management. Prior experience includes serving as Program Director for Security Architecture at Akamai Technologies, Founder/Principal of Zanshin Security, and Sr. Network Engineer/Security Team Lead at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bob also held the position of Network Manager at Plymouth State College, where responsibilities included designing and managing the campus network. Bob holds a BA and BS in History and Computer Science from Plymouth State University.
