Carrick Longley

Carrick Longley has an extensive work experience starting from their role as a military officer in the US Marine Corps from 2004 to 2016. Following that, they worked at IST Research Corp, where they held several positions including Information Scientist, Director of Information Campaigns, and Executive Vice President, contributing to the company's growth and successful acquisition.

In 2020, Carrick became the Vice President of Innovation at Two Six Technologies, where they spearheaded innovation initiatives and collaborated with business leaders to deliver tailored capabilities. Carrick later took on the role of Vice President of Technical Operations, overseeing diverse products and services and managing a team of 30 individuals.

After their tenure at Two Six Technologies, Carrick founded ZenithFlow, focusing on developing advanced AI and automation solutions for digital strategies. Carrick then founded and successfully launched Sweat FXBG, an innovative fitness studio, demonstrating effective entrepreneurial acumen.

In 2023, Carrick became an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at the University of Mary Washington, where they focused on hands-on learning and real-world applications. Carrick also currently serves as the SVP of Global Public Sector at Virtru, where they oversee the Public Sector business unit, ensures revenue growth, and provides guidance for government markets.

Carrick Longley holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Information Sciences from the Naval Postgraduate School, which they obtained from 2010 to 2017. Prior to that, they received a Master's degree in Information Warfare Systems Engineering from the same institution between 2008 and 2010. Carrick also holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Clemson University, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they completed the Command and Staff program at the U.S. Naval War College from 2010 to 2011 through distance education. Lastly, Carrick completed the Expeditionary Warfare School program at Marine Corps University through distance education from 2008 to 2010.
