Cowsika Dasarathan

Cowsika Dasarathan has accumulated extensive experience in network engineering and management throughout their career. Cowsika is currently serving as the Lead Low Latency Network Engineer at Virtu Financial since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Pico as the Vice President, Team Lead, Implementation Engineering from May 2018 to March 2021. Cowsika also held the position of Network and Telecoms Manager at Westpac from June 2015 to May 2018. Before that, they served as an Assistant Vice President - Network Engineering, Solution & Design at Barclays from June 2010 to June 2015. Their earlier experiences include roles such as Senior Network Consultant at HP Enterprise Services from March 2009 to June 2010, Senior Network Engineer at IBM Global Services from May 2005 to February 2009, Sr Network Engineer at Capital One from March 2007 to October 2008, Network Support Executive at Datacraft from October 2003 to May 2005, and Network Support Engineer at CMS Computers Ltd from April 2003 to October 2003.

Cowsika Dasarathan completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computing from Thompson Rivers University from 1998 to 2003. Cowsika also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathiar University from 1999 to 2002. In 2008, they obtained the certification of Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert - CCIE R & S from Cisco.
