Justin Algor

Justin Algor is an experienced professional with a robust background in finance and military operations. Currently serving as Chief of Staff at Virtu Financial since May 2017, Algor previously held the role of Vice President at Goldman Sachs, overseeing Banking, Investing, and Lending Operations as the Global Head of Portfolio Services Group from September 2015 to May 2017. Prior experience includes Vice President positions at J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs, focusing on Prime Custody and Prime Brokerage respectively. Algor's military career includes various leadership roles in the U.S. Army, culminating in positions as Captain and Infantry Battalion Operations Officer, with deployments during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Justin Algor earned an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
