Matthew Sandberg

Matthew Sandberg, CFA, has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Matthew is currently employed at Virtu Financial, where they serve as the Head of Corporate Planning & Business Analytics, as well as the Business Manager. Prior to joining Virtu Financial, Matthew worked at KCG Holdings, Inc. as a Business Manager, focusing on analysis and reporting for various trading desks. Matthew also managed and analyzed the algorithmic sales team. Before that, Matthew worked at BDO USA, LLP as a Business Restructuring Services Associate, where they performed tasks related to creditor debt recovery services and conducted analysis on distressed entities for potential clients. Matthew also worked as an intern at BDO USA, LLP, where they compiled financial statements, conducted research on financially struggling companies, and analyzed court dockets for financial information.

Matthew Sandberg, CFA completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Villanova University from 2007 to 2011. Matthew also holds additional certifications including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder obtained in 2016 and the Series 55, Series 63, and Series 7 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) obtained in 2012.
