Peter Lauria

Peter Lauria, CPA, has a diverse range of experience in finance and accounting. Peter began their career as a Teller at Watertown Savings Bank in 2007. Later, they joined ITG in 2012, where they served as an Accountant, responsible for revenue recognition and general ledger entries. Over time, Peter advanced to the role of Assistant Vice President Finance at ITG, where they managed subscription and commission share revenue recognition and designed a web-based client P&L. Most recently, Peter joined Virtu Financial in 2017 as Vice President Finance. In this role, they collaborated with senior management to manage a global research and development budget, centralized software capitalization and amortization processes, and established a global database for software developers.

Peter Lauria, CPA received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Operations & Technology Management from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the same school with a dual concentration in Finance and Law from 2008 to 2011. Peter also pursued coursework towards a Computer Engineering Degree at Rochester Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2008. Peter completed their high school education at Belmont Hill School, earning a High School Diploma in 2004.
