William Garvey

William Garvey has held a variety of roles in the entertainment industry over the past 20 years. Their career began in 2000 when they were an Over-hirer for IATSE Local 187. In 2006, they joined Norwegian Cruise Line as a Waiter and was promoted to Entertainment Technician and then Entertainment Technical Supervisor. From 2015 to 2021, they held various roles at Walt Disney World, Polk County Supervisor of Elections, IATSE Local 631, Planet Hollywood International, and Amazon. In 2021, they joined Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group as an Automation Technician (on call). Currently, they are a Senior Manager Tech and Integrations, Senior Customer Success Manager, and Restaurant Success Manager at Virtual Dining Concepts.

William Garvey obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Geography: Travel & Tourism & Business Information Technologies & Operational Management Minor from Ball State University in 2006. That same year, they also obtained their S.T.C.W. Certification from Paul Hall Maritime Center. In 2011, they obtained their Merchant Mariner Credential from the U.S. Coast Guard. In 2012, they obtained their Transportation Workers Identification Credential from the United States Government.
