Richard Wells has a diverse work experience in the education field. Richard started their career as an English Teacher at Broward County Public Schools in 2004 and later became the English Department Chair. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Curriculum Facilitator. In 2017, they joined the School Board of Alachua County where they worked as a Beginning Teacher Mentor & Coach and later as a Secondary Professional Development Specialist. In 2022, they moved to Virtual Enterprises International, Inc. where they took on the role of National Middle School Program Manager. In 2023, they were promoted to Associate Director of Curriculum and Professional Learning in the same company.
Richard Wells received a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Florida in the academic year of 2007-2008.
