Brett Russell

Brett Russell has a long history of working in the marketing and promotions industry. Brett began their career in 2004 as a Marketing Manager at Live Nation, where they outlined the layout of radio promotions sales generating activities and coordinated and planned over $100K in cash giveaways, concerts, and other station promotional events. In 2007, they moved to CBS Radio where they served as the Director of Marketing and Promotions and Promotions Director. During this time, they successfully led the creation of 5 separate comprehensive media plans for 5 different radio stations during a 12-month span and strategically managed the organization’s total profit and loss margins for nontraditional revenue activities. In 2011, Brett joined AEG Presents as the Marketing Manager. In this role, they provided radio/TV expertise and informational support while reporting directly to executive-level leadership with full P&L accountability for business activities throughout the company. Brett also oversaw and directed the placement of all media advertising buys throughout numerous marketing channel medians. In 2019, Brett began working as a Security Consultant/Sales Southeast for Virtual Guard Inc.

Brett Russell attended Aurora High School from 1993 to 1996, graduating with the Class of 1996. Brett then attended The University of Akron from 1996 to 1998, studying Communication. Brett also holds a certification as a Landmark Forum Graduate.
