Christian Søhoel has extensive work experience in the field of technology and software development. Christian is currently the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Virtual Hive since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at NOVASOL AS as the Director of Engineering from December 2020 to July 2021, and as the Head of Technology/Development Manager from February 2019 to November 2020. Before that, they held the position of Engineering Manager at Siteimprove from May 2018 to January 2019.
Christian has also worked at Visma Consulting as the Delivery Manager from September 2013 to April 2018. Christian served as a Software Architect from January 2009 to August 2013, and as a Senior Consultant/Chief Developer from April 2006 to December 2008.

Christian worked as a System Developer at Fairgain A/S from September 2000 to August 2001. Christian also worked at Dansk Informations Teknologi, DIT as a System Developer from January 1998 to September 1999, where they were involved in the design and development of an electronic case and document management component. Lastly, they worked as a Software Engineer at Adtranz A/S from January 1996 to December 1997, where they were responsible for the client part of a large railway operation system.
Throughout their career, Christian has gained expertise in various technologies such as C++, UML, Linux, VoIP, Oracle Forms, PL/SQL, SQL, C, X/Motif, and SUN Unix.
Christian Søhoel completed their education at Aalborg University from 1990 to 1995, earning a degree in Civilingeniør with a focus on Proceskontrol. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In December 2017, Christian obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, although the institution providing this certification is not mentioned. In January 2016, they became a SAFe Agilist (SA) through Scaled Agile, Inc. Furthermore, in December 2011, Christian obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification through Scrum Alliance, Inc. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to professional development and expertise in cloud computing, agile methodologies, and scrum project management.
