Leigh V.

Leigh V. is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in special education and English instruction. Currently, Leigh serves as a Special Education Teacher at Alabama Connections Academy and as an Adjunct English Instructor at Virtual Learning Academy Charter School. With a MA License in English for grades 5-12, Leigh has previously worked as a Secondary Virtual English Teacher and an English Teacher in various educational settings since 2020. In addition to teaching, Leigh has experience as an Alumni Services Teaching Fellow at Citizen Schools and as a Managing Editor at Yawkey Way Report, overseeing content for a prominent publication related to the Boston Red Sox. An accomplished author, Leigh published a memoir titled "Because of You: A Memoir of Growing, Grieving and Mothering Without a Mother," available on Amazon. Leigh holds a Master of Education from UMass Boston and multiple degrees in English and literature, alongside a certification as an Integrative Wellness and Life Coach.
