Steve Kossakoski

Steve Kossakoski serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Virtual Learning Academy Charter School since June 2008. Prior to this role, Steve Kossakoski was a member of the Board of Directors at the Nellie Mae Education Foundation from June 2012 to September 2022. Additionally, Steve Kossakoski held the position of Assistant Superintendent at SAU 16 from July 2000 to June 2008 and served as Director of Technology at SAU 17 from July 1994 to June 1998. Steve Kossakoski began a career in education as a teacher at Sanborn Regional High School from July 1981 to June 1994. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of New Hampshire, along with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Keene State College and a diploma from Thayer High School in Winchester, NH.
