Richard Gould

Richard Gould serves as the Managing Director of Virtual Manufacturing UK Limited, where leadership focuses on empowering UK manufacturers through digital technologies for enhanced operational efficiency and competitiveness. As Co-Founder of The Digital Forge CIC, Richard fosters innovation by bridging academia and industry in the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Additionally, Richard holds roles as Chair of the Yorkshire and Humber Made Smarter Advisory Board and Board Member for the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority. Previous leadership positions include Sales Director at Sheffield Technology Limited and MetLase, Chair of the Freemans’ Committee at The Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire, and various roles at Castings Technology International, where Richard contributed to product development and commercial management. Richard's academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering Design from Coventry University.
