Rajeev Madhavan is an advisor at Virtual Power Systems. Rajeev has also served on the board of directors for WootCloud, Inc., Clear Ventures, Robin Systems, Inc., and Reflektion. In addition, they have been the chairman, founding investor, and CEO of Magma Design Automation, Inc. and a member of the UCLA Foundation Board of Directors.
Rajeev Madhavan has over two decades of experience in the tech industry. Rajeev co-founded Magma Design Automation in 1997 and served as its CEO until 2012. Magma was acquired by Synopsys in 2012 for $2.6B. Rajeev also co-founded Clear Ventures, a seed and early stage venture fund, in 2013 and served as chairman until 2019 when they transitioned to a venture partner role.
In 2017, Rajeev joined WootCloud as a member of its board of directors. WootCloud was acquired by Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, in 2019. Rajeev is also an investor and chairman of Robin Systems, which was acquired by Rakuten in 2020.
Rajeev currently serves as an advisor at Virtual Power Systems.
Rajeev Madhavan has a M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications from National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Rajeev also attended Maharaja's College, Ernakulam.
