Filip Kitanoski

Filip Kitanoski currently serves as the Head of Rail Systems and Road Safety at the Virtual Vehicle Research Center since February 2017 and is the Founder of PBX GmbH from January 2017 to the present. Previously, Filip held multiple roles at Liebherr Aerospace and Transportation, including Head of Product Management and Design for Commercial Vehicles, as well as positions in Product Management and Research & Development from September 2011 to December 2016. Filip also led a team focusing on Thermal Management and 1D-Simulation at Virtual Vehicle from April 2005 to August 2011. Academically, Filip obtained an EMBA from both the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and WU Executive Academy in 2012-2013, and earned a Doctorate in Technical Sciences specializing in Modeling, Simulation, and Optimization from Graz University of Technology between 2007 and 2010.
