Lindsey Harris has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Lindsey began their career as a Senior Programmer at Wicat Systems Ltd in 1986 and worked there until 1998. Lindsey then joined Wicat Systems Inc as a Project Manager, overseeing a team of software engineers and collaborating with clients worldwide to produce 3D and desktop cockpit simulations for commercial pilots.
In 2005, Lindsey joined Simulator Systems International as a Senior Programmer, where they developed simulations for pilot and driver training and provided support for automotive simulators throughout the USA. Lindsey also worked with teams in Tulsa and France.
From 2008 to 2009, Lindsey worked as a Software Engineer at DigitalBridge, focusing on integrating different data sources to provide educational data required by the State Office of Education.
In 2010, Lindsey joined GE Healthcare as an Automation Test Software Engineer, responsible for expanding the internal Automation Test tool and enhancing capabilities in diverse areas such as Data Acquisition & Analysis and Image capture and analysis.
In the same year, they also joined L-3 Communications, D.P. Associates as a Software Engineer, working on Engine Room Simulations for the Maritime industry to increase safety and reduce incidents. Lindsey had a worldwide customer base in this role.
From 2016 until the present, Lindsey has been working at Appri Custom Technologies as a Senior Software Development Engineer and VP Software. Lindsey'sresponsibilities include expanding technologies, producing simulations for training, and providing customer solutions through the development of quality software using Unity 3D and C#.
Most recently, in 2022, Lindsey joined Virtuix as a Software Team Lead.
Lindsey Harris pursued their undergraduate education from 1982 to 1985 at the University of Warwick, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Psychology.
