Rick Soza has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rick began their career at Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra and Music School, where they served as an Information Systems Manager and Lead Database Application Developer. Rick then joined Central Power and Light as an Assistant Engineer intern, where they gained experience in power distribution circuit drafting and plant automation.

After that, Soza worked at Medlab International as an Information Systems Manager and Lead Database Application Developer, before moving on to Frontline Systems, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer. Here, they developed various software and drivers for different projects.

Soza then joined Textron Systems (formerly Symtx/AAI) as a Project Engineer, where they worked on software and electrical engineering projects for Lockheed Martin and Boeing Satellite Systems. Following that, they spent some time at Cirrus Logic as a Software Architect on a contract basis.

Next, Soza joined Siemens (formerly Site Controls) as an R&D Engineering Manager and Lead Architect, where they played a crucial role in the growth and success of the startup. Rick was involved in firmware development for thermostats and lighting control panels, as well as enterprise web application development.

Currently, Rick Soza is working at Virtuix as the Head of Engineering. In this role, they oversee all aspects of the company's engineering product development activities. Their responsibilities include managing simultaneous projects, delivering designs within budget and time constraints, and fostering innovative solutions for game developer needs. Rick has expertise in various technologies, including proximity sensors, capacitive touch, sensors fusion, and bluetooth.

Rick Soza attended Brown University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Their major was in BioMedical Engineering, with a minor in Software Engineering. Additionally, they pursued studies in Electrical Engineering during their time at the university.
