Petra Wale

Petra Wale has a diverse work experience in the field of reproductive health and embryology. Petra has held positions as a Principal Scientist, Project Manager, and Subject Matter Expert at various organizations, including Virtus Health, Monash University, and Queensland Fertility Group. Petra has also served as the Scientific Director and Quality Manager at Fertility Tasmania, leading the establishment and management of a laboratory startup. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in laboratory operations, research and development, and the implementation of innovative technologies. Petra's experience also includes roles as an embryologist and senior embryologist, where they contributed to advancements in clinical practices and led research initiatives. Petra holds a PhD in mammalian embryo development from the University of Melbourne.

Petra Wale has a diverse education history in various fields of study. Petra began their educational journey in 1996 at the University of Tasmania, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Marine Biology. Petra completed this degree in 1999.

Petra continued their academic pursuits by enrolling at the University of Melbourne in 2008. During their time there, they undertook a PhD program focused on Reproductive Biology, which they completed in 2012.
