Maria Giannavola

Maria Giannavola has extensive experience in loan settlements, currently serving as Global Manager - Settlements at Virtus Partners since June 2007, where leadership is provided to a global team of over 60 Closers across various sectors, including Loan Syndications and US and European Securities. Previous roles at Virtus Partners include Senior Director and Director of Loan Settlements, where responsibilities involved managing teams, streamlining processes, and resolving escalated issues. Prior to joining Virtus Partners, Maria worked at BNY Mellon as a Trust Associate, focusing on TRS Loan Settlements, and at JPMorgan Chase Bank as an Account Manager and Senior Loan Administrator, where expertise in syndicated loan structures and transaction processing was developed. Maria's career began in the United States Air Force, and education was completed at the University of Houston with a degree in Finance.
