Piotr Kukiełka

Piotr Kukiełka is an experienced software developer with a focus on FinTech and Scala technologies. Currently serving as the Head of FinTech and Senior Scala Developer at VirtusLab since August 2014, Piotr has significantly contributed to one of the world's largest Scala projects by enhancing tooling, improving compilation performance, and developing various integrations and plugins. Prior to VirtusLab, Piotr held the position of Senior Software Developer at Sabre Holdings from December 2012 to July 2014, where contributions were directed towards SaaS solutions for the aviation industry. Piotr's career began as a Software Engineer at X-Formation from November 2009 to November 2012, working on innovative license management solutions. Piotr holds a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from Jagiellonian University, earned between 2004 and 2009.
