Belkis Barral

Belkis Barral is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital product management and risk strategies at Visa, having joined the company in November 1997. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Digital Products and Head of Tokenization, Belkis leads initiatives to enhance digitalization across Latin America and the Caribbean. Key accomplishments include the launch of the first Tokenization product in the LAC region and the Visa Ready TSP program, which facilitated the successful integration of mobile payment solutions like Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Previous roles at Visa include Emerging Products Director, Manager of Risk Management, and Product Manager, with a focus on chip and contactless infrastructure. Belkis holds an M.B.A. from American InterContinental University and advanced degrees in robotics engineering from Brno University of Technology and Havana University.
