Guido Mangiagalli

Guido Mangiagalli serves as the Head of Authentication and Identity at Visa Europe since October 2012, overseeing the e/m-commerce authentication and identity product portfolio across Europe. Responsibilities include developing and commercializing digital authentication solutions to enhance customer experiences for merchants and issuers. Previously, Guido held various roles at Visa Europe from 2001 to 2011, contributing to the growth of mobile payments and contactless technology. Notable achievements include leading Visa prepaid to 20% POS growth in 2013 and overseeing the successful rollout of contactless payments in multiple European countries. Prior experience includes General Manager at Buongiorno, managing the cashlog micropayment platform, and positions at OBERTHUR CARD SYSTEMS and PIRELLI CABLE and SYSTEMS. Educational background includes an MBA from MIP Politecnico di Milano and a degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano.
